We are Adriana and Edgar Spik,
founders of Bell Tower Bilingual
School (BTBS) and Bell Tower
Language Academy (BTLA).

BTBS is a Bilingual Immersion
Preschool Program (on weekdays)
while  BTLA is a Spanish and/or Mandarin
Immersion Program for non-Spanish/Mandarin
speakers or for Spanish/Mandarin speakers
that want to improve or develop their
language skills (Saturdays only).

The Bell Tower Bilingual School is designed to stimulate
students through immersion in the Spanish and English
language and culture. With an increase in demand for
multicultural skills in business, there is a rapidly growing interest
in language proficiency. The sooner a child learns a second
language, the more adept they become at it.

We are originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, but have lived in
Los Angeles for 15 years. We are both graduates of the
Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) and we have more than 14
years of teaching experience in Argentina and over 14 in the US.

Our goal is to focus on educating children and sharing the
wonders of   two cultures: American culture and Spanish and
Latin American culture as well as providing a multicultural
education in the other cultures of our families at Bell Tower
Bilingual School.

At Bell Tower Bilingual School, we implement an innovative
learning curriculum where the children learn through experience.
After attending for two full years, children acquire a basic,
developmentally appropriate, functional use of the Spanish
language.
Interaction is the key in our learning experiences. We utilize
music, dance, art and cultural expression to boost skills and
retention. Our immersion approach is conducted in a
comfortable, stimulating and nurturing environment and has
proven to be a successful alternative  to standard bilingual
education.

In addition to the traditional learning methods, Bell Tower
Bilingual  School has developed its own curriculum and
materials, which provide a great learning experience for your
child. The daily class schedule includes indoor and outdoor, and
theme-based structured learning activities, arts, drama,
cooking and computer classes, singing, learning stations, play
time, rest time, eating and other social and cultural events such
as our Grandparents Day, Halloween Parade, Thanksgiving
Luncheon, Winter Show, Fashion Show, etc.

In addition, our class sizes are limited to enhance dialogue and
improve retention. Classes are taught by highly-qualified
teachers  that are proficient in both English and Spanish.
